News:
In 2014 I moved to the Learning and Machine Perception (LAMP) group . See my new website for the latest publications and projects.

Events:

• I will give an invited talk at the Computational Color Imaging Workshop in St. Etienne.
• We will present an ORAL presentation at the BMVC 2014 on facial behavior categorization .
• We have one ORAL presentation at CVPR 2014 titled 'Adaptive color attributes for real-time visual tracking'.
• I will be a invited profesor at Laboratoire Hubert Curien at the University of Jean Monnet St. Etienne in June.
• I am an AREA chair at ICPR 2014.
• We have made a new data set for illuminant estimation in multi-illuminant scenes ( webpage).
• We are organizing the fifth Color and Photometry in Computer Vision Workshop (CPCV 2013), held in conjunction with ICCV 2013 in Sydney.
• We released code of a new color feature proposed at CVPR 2013. The code also includes implementation of Color Names and Hue and Opponent descriptor.
• Matlab code for Object recoloring is now available.
• I will give an invited talk at the Computational Color Imaging Workshop in Chiba Japan.
• We obtained a honorable mention in the VOC PASCAL challenge 2012 in image classification. Browse our results here.
• Our book Color in Computer Vision: Fundamentals and Applications has been printed.
• We released a demo on semantic image retrieval.
• we will organize the Color and Photometry in Computer Vision Workshop (CPCV 2012), held in conjunction with ECCV 2012 in Florence.
• I am giving a tutorial together with Theo Gevers and Keigo Hirakawa at ICCV.
• I am tutorial chair for the IBPRIA 2011 at Las Palmas de Gran Canarias.
• we organize the Color and Photometry in Computer Vision Workshop (CPCV 2011), held in conjunction with ICCV 2011.
• I give a keynote lecture at the VISIGRAPP 2011 conference in Portugal.
• we obtained first positions in VOC PASCAL challenge 2010 on image segmentation and action classification.
